Dismissal or Demotion Letter
The Dismissal / Demotion Letter is used where the employer wishes to dismiss the employee or take some other action short of dismissal due to a failure by the employee to improve conduct or performance.
The Dismissal / Demotion Letter should be read in conjunction with the Disciplinary Policy and Procedure and the Guidance Notes: Disciplinary Procedure.
This letter must only be used where an appropriate procedure has been followed in accordance with the ACAS Code of Practice.
