This Disciplinary Policy and Procedure applies to employee misconduct and issues of poor performance.
The document conforms with the Bribery Act 2010 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR requires employers to comply with principles for processing personal data, including protecting against unauthorised access to an individual’s personal data.
The Disciplinary Policy and Procedure should be read in conjunction with the Guidance Notes: Disciplinary Procedure.
All employers are required to follow fair and reasonable procedures for dealing with disciplinary and dismissal issues. This Disciplinary Policy and Procedure is the latest version and compliant with the ACAS Code of Practice. Employers must ensure that a copy of their up to date Disciplinary Policy and Procedure is provided to each employee.
