First Formal Warning Letter
This First Formal Warning is normally used after a formal disciplinary meeting where the employer has decided that the employee’s conduct or poor performance justifies a warning.
It records the outcome of the disciplinary process and confirms what improvement is required.
When to Use This First Formal Warning Letter
Use this letter where, following a formal disciplinary meeting, the employer has concluded that a first formal warning is the appropriate sanction.
It can be used for misconduct or poor performance where formal action is justified.
