These Event Management Terms and Conditions are designed for use by
businesses providing event management services to consumers.
The data protection provisions in this document have been reviewed and updated for Brexit. The data protection clause has been reduced to a simple cross-reference to a privacy notice or policy, making it more user-friendly.
Designed for use with a range of event types, these terms and conditions
are designed to be as flexible as possible and have been written in
consumer-friendly terms, ensuring high levels of clarity and fairness. Key
terms explain the formation of a legally binding contract, fees and
payment, the customer’s various cancellation rights and the provision of
the event management services themselves.
Being designed for use with consumer clients, this document has been
written in compliance with a range of consumer protection legislation and
comply with the pre-contract information requirements established by the
Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges)
Regulations 2013. It is important to note that this document is designed
with on-premises contracts in mind (that is, those that are conducted in
the simultaneous physical presence of the seller and the customer on the
seller's premises) and are thus not suitable for distance selling (such as
e-commerce) or off-premises selling (such as doorstep sales).
Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be
read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused
