This Notice of Improved Conduct letter confirming improved conduct since a formal warning has complies with the ACAS Code of Practice.

The letter should be read in conjunction with the Disciplinary Policy and the Disciplinary Procedure Guidance Notes.

Following a Formal Warning in respect of misconduct the employee's behaviour and conduct should be monitored.

After a reasonable time and subject to an improvement in the employee's conduct, a letter should be sent acknowledging this improvement. This letter states also that should the improvement be maintained the Formal Warning will be disregarded. Should the conduct not improve a further disciplinary meeting may be called.
