Maternity Employer's Decision Letter to Flexible Working Request
This Flexible Working Decision Letter is for use by employers to follow on from a flexible working request meeting with an employee. This letter should be sent to the employee shortly after the meeting.
This letter contains three optional paragraphs: the first accepts the employee’s request; the second accepts the flexible working request on a trial basis; and the third denies the request and sets out an alternative which should have been discussed and accepted by the employee at the meeting.
If you are rejecting the employee’s request outright and not offering an alternative, please use the Flexible Working Decision (Rejection) Letter .
