Expectant Mother Notification Letter
This Expectant Mother Notification Letter is designed to be used by newly
pregnant female employees that are ready to inform their employer of their
pregnancy. This will allow the employer to begin making the appropriate and
legally required arrangements such as risk assessments and allowing days
off for ante-natal appointments.
This letter does not contain any reference to the Expected Week of
Childbirth or any official documentation. It is a simple letter to inform
the employer that the employee is pregnant.
Upon receiving the letter, the employer should reply with the Expectant
Mother Acknowledgement Letter (EMP.MS.03.09) and should conduct the
Expectant Mother Risk Assessment (EMP.MS.03.10) as listed below or the
