These Gym Terms of Business are designed for use by gyms, health clubs, leisure centres, and similar establishments that provide fitness equipment, exercise facilities, classes, and instruction.
They cover the main contractual terms for membership together with the rules that apply to the use of the establishment and its facilities.

When to Use These Gym Membership Terms
These terms should be used only where membership is taken by a customer who is a consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
They are suitable for gyms and similar venues offering consumer memberships for access to facilities, classes, and related services.

Consumer Contracts and Cancellation Rights
These terms are suitable for on-premises, off-premises, and distance contracts under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The Regulations require certain information to be given before a customer joins the gym. For off-premises and distance contracts, they also give the customer cancellation rights, which are reflected in the terms.
