functions such as parties and wedding receptions. Owning and operating a
venue is thus a business in itself.
This document is compliant with the GDPR (General Data Protection
This Venue Hire Agreement has been written to cover a wide variety of
venues suited to an equally wide variety of private events and functions. Detailed
provisions govern key factors such as the customer’s use of the venue, the
use of associated equipment and personnel, health and safety, and the
conduct and order of guests.
It is important to note that this document is designed for use only where the client acts as a consumer and is booking the venue for a private
event or function. Its terms are not suitable for a business function or event such as a trade show or conference where the client is a business (i.e. not a consumer). A specific agreement has been written
to cater for such commercial bookings.
