Arbitration Clause
The Arbitration Clause is one of a number of standard clauses that can be used to draft a new contract or to amend/improve an existing contract. An arbitration clause makes available an alternative form of dispute resolution to which the parties can refer disputes instead of resorting to the courts.
This clause template has been reviewed and updated for improved compatibility with other documents in the Simply-Docs portfolio. Options have been added to make it easy to use with either Terms and Conditions or an Agreement. An additional provision has also been inserted to allow the parties to specify certain minimum qualifications or positions that the arbitrator is required to hold.
Optional text is enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.
