Following works, an updated EPC certificate should be obtained and a copy provided to the tenant. This letter should be printed on the landlord’s headed paper and sent to the tenant.

This Letter also provides optional clauses with requests for the tenant to pay the costs of the works where appropriate. Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected, so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.
