Letter – Contract Performance Reminder
In any commercial contract situation it is desirable for both parties that a breach be avoided wherever possible. Where a deadline is approaching and the work has not been done, a gentle reminder may be sufficient to get things moving and avoid the undesirable consequences of a breach.
This Contract Performance Reminder Letter is designed for just such a situation. The soon-to-be defaulting party is reminded of their obligations and of the impending deadline. Further reminders emphasise that failure to render timely performance will constitute a breach of contract and that if the non-performance is a result of force majeure, the sender should be informed immediately.
Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.
