Letter – Request to Use Confidential Information
This Request to Use Confidential Information Letter is designed for use with a range of commercial agreements under which one or both parties will receive confidential information from the other. Although in many cases a confidentiality clause will provide certain blanket permissions to use information designated confidential there may be circumstances in which further authorisation is required either because it falls outside of such permissions or because it is unclear as to whether it is within them or without.
The letter requires the sender to set out which information they wish to use and the purpose for which they wish to use it.
