Employment Business Representation Offer for Temporary Worker
This Employment Business Representation Offer for Temporary Worker template is designed to be used by an employment business when engaging a temporary worker.
It is intended for use with the accompanying Employment Business Temporary Worker Terms and Conditions template so that all terms of contract under which the temporary worker is engaged by the employment business are contained in the two documents. (The Representation Offer sets out all of those terms which are not already included in the Terms and Conditions and the two documents cross refer to each other as appropriate.)
In order to comply with the requirements of Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, an employment business must also issue a Key Information Document (KID) to the Temporary Worker. A template KID accompanies the Representation Offer and the Terms and Conditions.
An Employment Business Client Terms and Conditions template also accompanies these documents for use when the employment business agrees the terms of retainer with its client for whom it is to provide a temporary worker.
These template Employment Business Representation Offer for Temporary Worker, Temporary Worker Terms and Conditions, KID and Client Terms and Conditions are all specifically only for use by employment businesses. For employment agencies, that is those who introduce work-seekers to clients for direct employment, a different set of terms (such as those here) should be used to provide services to those work-seekers.
Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.
