This Employment Business Key Information Document (KID) for Temporary Worker template is designed to be used by an employment business to help create a KID which complies with the requirements of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. The Regulations oblige an employment business to issue a KID to a temporary worker before it engages that temporary worker. This KID template is intended to be used in conjunction with both of the two accompanying template documents, namely the Employment Business Temporary Worker Terms and Conditions and the Employment Business Representation Offer for Temporary Worker. (The employment business can use both of those other templates together as the contract to engage the temporary worker.)

In addition, the accompanying Employment Business Client Terms and Conditions template can be used when the employment business agrees the terms of retainer with its client for whom it is to provide a temporary worker.

For employment agencies, that is those who introduce work-seekers to clients for direct employment, a different set of terms (such as those here) should be used to provide services to those work-seekers.
