The Grievance Meeting Letter is used where an employee raises a grievance formally and consequently requests a meeting. Employers should arrange for a formal meeting to be held without unreasonable delay after an employee grievance is received.

Employers are required to follow fair and reasonable procedures for dealing with grievance issues. Therefore, it is paramount for employers to have a Grievance Procedure because it enables employers to ensure that any problems, complaints or concerns that employees may have are dealt with fairly, consistently and in timely fashion.
