Adoption Leave KIT Day Request
This Adoption Leave Keeping In Touch Day Request letter allows an employee on adoption leave to make contact with their employer regarding a keeping in touch day.
Keeping In Touch Days (“KIT” days) allow employees on adoption leave to return to work during their leave. This must be agreed between the employer and the employee. An employee may be permitted to take up to 10 KIT days in total. Work undertaken on a KIT day need not be limited to the employee’s normal duties and can include training and other events.
Any work carried out on any KIT day shall, by law, constitute a day’s work.
The employer cannot require the employee to take KIT days, nor can they penalise the employee for not taking any. Similarly, the employer is not obliged to offer such days.
This Adoption Leave KIT Day Request is in open format. Either enter the requisite details in the highlighted fields or adjust the wording to suit your purposes.
