Services Terms of Business Templates

For many service providers, a full signed service agreement is not necessary for every job. In straightforward engagements, terms of business can be an efficient way to set expectations and reduce disputes, particularly on scope, pricing, payment terms, cancellations, and liability.

This collection includes a small set of service terms designed for different business and customer types. Many other terms and conditions templates are also available in the main Terms and Conditions Templates range.

When Should You Use These Templates?

Use these templates if you provide services and want a set of terms that can be issued with your quotation, booking confirmation or invoice, rather than relying on a bespoke signed agreement each time.

These templates are particularly useful where you want to:

  • use a general baseline set of terms (B2C or B2B) that can be adapted for a wide range of service work;
  • use sector-specific terms where the day-to-day practicalities matter (for example, bookings and cancellations for driving tuition, gym usage rules, or appointment and cancellation policies for salons);
  • have terms drafted specifically for business clients in specialist service areas such as IT services; and
  • use the correct approach for consumer customers or business customers, depending on who you contract with.

What Templates Are Included?

Why Use These Templates?

They also allow you to choose the right approach for both consumer and business transactions.
