Commercial Sales, Lettings and Property Management Terms and Conditions

The documents in this subfolder have been drafted to meet the needs of Commercial Lettings Agencies and Property Management Agencies. This subfolder contains Terms and Conditions and Agent Appointment Forms which, when used together, create a contract between the property Owner and the Agent.

There are three versions of the Terms and Conditions and Appointment Forms, catering for different levels of service. The “Letting & Management” service makes the Agent responsible for day-to-day management of the property as well as the initial marketing. The “Letting Only” version and “Management Only” versions can be used where the scope of the Agent’s role is more limited.

The Terms and Conditions and Appointment Forms can be placed on the Agent’s website but they must also be provided to Owners in hard copy. An agency contract is formed by the Owner completing and signing the appropriate Appointment Form, confirming acceptance of the relevant set of Terms and Conditions, and the Agent signing to confirm the appointment.
