Flexible Working Policy

EMP.RE.03.12

All employees with at least 26 weeks’ service have the right to apply for flexible working in order to enable them to balance their work commitments with other priorities. Employers are required to handle requests to work flexibly in a ‘reasonable manner’.

With effect from 6 April 2024, employees will be given the right to request flexible working from day one of employment and will no longer have to explain the effect their requested change may have on the employer and how any such effect might be dealt with.
