A company must give notice to the registrar if it elects to keep its PSC register at Companies House.
This Notice to Companies House regarding Election to Keep PSC Register at Companies House is a template form of letter that can be sent to Companies House informing them of this election in order to comply with section 790X of the Companies Act 2006.
This notice must confirm that:
• no objection was received to the election to hold the company’s PSC register at Companies House; and
• all the information that is required to be contained in the company’s PSC register is included with the notice and is current.
The company must then place a notice in its historic register stating that an election under section 790X is in force, recording when the election took place and indicating that up to date information about people with significant control over the company is available for public inspection on the central register.
