Registers of People with Significant Control – Individuals and Legal Entities
Under the Companies Act 2006, as amended by the Small Business Enterprise & Employment Act 2015, UK incorporated companies, UK LLPs and UK Societates Europaeae must collect and keep information about people with significant control over them in a register – Register of People with Significant Control.
This subfolder contains template forms of the registers that companies must keep of all their PSCs or registrable relevant legal entities. Even if a company has no interests to be registered (or is dormant), it must still keep a register. Criminal sanctions apply for non-compliance. Only those companies that are exempt do not need to keep a PSC register. As the exemption broadly covers only those companies with shares listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, this regime affects almost all UK companies and therefore virtually all UK companies will need to keep a PSC register.
