Memorandum of Sale of Residential Property
This Memorandum of Sale of Residential Property can be used by estate agents to record that a sale of a residential property has been agreed (subject to contract) between a seller and a buyer.
The memorandum includes fields for the seller’s and buyer’s details and those of their solicitors or conveyancers. The agent should also insert information about the property, the price, any chain, the buyer’s financial arrangements and the proposed timescale for exchange of contracts and completion of the sale.
The agent should send the completed form to the seller, the buyer and their legal representatives.
