Prior to any written warnings concerning Capability, clear evidence of Poor Performance should be obtained and an informal discussion take place between the employee and the appropriate manager.
Training, supervision and other general assistance initiatives should be discussed to seek ways to improve the Employee's Performance, and arrangements made to monitor the continued performance.
In the event of Continued Poor Performance, the employee should be sent a Notice of First Disciplinary Hearing.
