Tent Hire Terms and Conditions
Designed for the hire of a range of tents, these Tent Hire Terms and Conditions cover a range of important points to allow for smooth and efficient transactions between hire businesses and their customers.

These terms and conditions are designed for use in situations where tents are being hired for camping and leisure and will thus be collected and set up by customers. Both walk-up-and-hire and advance booking hires are covered by these terms.
The customer’s obligations are set out in detail, ensuring that no unnecessary damage or harm is done to the tents or to the customers themselves.
Payment in this template includes a deposit for advance orders with the balance payable at the time of collection, or the full price for walk-up-and-hire. Provision is also made for a security deposit.
Cancellation provisions are included for advance orders, allowing customers to cancel within two separate time windows before the hire period begins. For each window, different refund and/or payment terms apply, ensuring that the closer to the hire period the cancellation takes place, the more money your business is entitled to – reflecting the level of inconvenience and loss of opportunity to hire the goods out to a different customer.
Customers may damage hired items, whether accidentally or otherwise. Provision is therefore made for an accidental damage waiver. Damage (or loss) outside of that waiver should be covered by the aforementioned security deposit.
Liability in this document is limited to a reasonable level. Users are advised to exercise great care should they wish to limit liability further as these terms and conditions are written with consumer customers in mind.
