There has been a review of the various existing Events & Hospitality template Agreements and Terms and Conditions.

As a result, a number of the B2B Events & Hospitality templates have been revised. This is to ensure both that they are as easy to use and understand as possible, and also that they meet current best practice.

There have been alterations to the drafting of some provisions, to improve clarity and to simplify the documents where possible. Particular topics covered by these templates have been addressed, to improve, update, clarify and simplify the way in which the templates cover those topics. For example, amendments have been made to provisions dealing with how orders are placed, the legal status of steps taken by the service provider before it actually provides the service, the handling (including repayment) of deposits, various aspects of limitation of liability and indemnities, force majeure, termination of contract and its consequences and the giving of notices by either party.
