Employee Data Protection and the GDPR
GDPR - Employment Documents
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25 May 2018 and gives people greater control over how their personal data is used. The GDPR expands on the previous regime established by the Data Protection Act 1998, setting out a number of important principles governing how personal data is collected, held, and processed by organisations.
This group of GDPR documents is focused in context and applicability on personal data relating to employees. As an employer you are a “data controller” under the GDPR and in that capacity your data subjects have certain rights and you have corresponding obligations.
This group provides documents to be used in relation to existing and new hire employment contracts, documents to help you deal with Subject Access Requests and also includes an employee focused data protection policy.
These Employee Data Protection and the GDPR Documents are part of the Employment Documents Folder. Just £35.00 + VAT will provide you with 1 year's unlimited access to download all/any documents from the Employment Folder.
