This Letter from Landlord Making Regulations may be used where a Landlord wishes to make regulations, in relation to a property, with which its tenant is required to comply. Most commercial leases allow Landlords to do this in the interests of good estate management but Landlords should check the terms of a Lease, before using this Letter, to establish exactly what is permitted.

The Letter makes reference to the clause of the Lease that allow the Landlord to make regulations (the relevant clause number should be inserted). The Landlord may either attach a list of regulations or include details of the new regulations in the text of the Letter.

The letter should be countersigned by the tenant to confirm their acceptance of its terms.
