This Conflict of Interest Register is designed for a SME private limited company.
As a matter of good practice, companies should consider keeping a conflicts of interest register. This allows companies to monitor directors’ conflicts and ensure that the correct statutory declarations have been made and the necessary authorisations put in place if necessary.
This register is set out in the form of a table and should be kept by a company secretary or administrator, as well as appended to the back of any conflicts of interest policy the company has. This register is different from our register of directors’ interests, which can be accessed here (and which identifies interests rather than conflicts).
