Letter Licence to Alter

PROP.MAN.23

This Letter Licence to Alter should be used where the tenant wishes to carry out minor alterations to the premises and, under the terms of the lease, the landlord’s consent is required.

The terms of this Letter Licence are less detailed than the more formal Licence for Alterations. The Letter Licence should only be used for minor works, e.g. the erection of demountable partitioning or signage. Drawings and specifications showing the proposed works should be attached to the Letter Licence so that it is clear what the landlord is consenting to.

Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.

This Letter Licence to Alter is in open format. Either enter the requisite details in the highlighted fields or adjust the wording to suit your purposes.

Once you have purchased access to the appropriate document folder click on the “Download Document” button below. You will be asked what you want to do with the file. It is recommended that you save the document to a location of your choice prior to viewing.
