This pro forma reply slip is a letter of response addressed to the company from a shareholder consenting to the company preparing and filing abridged accounts. This reply slip should be included with the consent letter sent by the company to all of its members when seeking their consent to the abridgement. This template letter can be accessed in this subfolder.
A small company (as defined by the Companies Act 2006), may only prepare and file abridged accounts if all its members (shareholders) consent. A reply slip will encourage and assist the individual in responding as promptly as possible to the company’s request for consent.
Note that consent must be obtained each year and can only be made in respect of the preceding financial year.
