This Inventory Schedule should be used to give a detailed description of the condition of the property at the outset of a letting and to set out a comprehensive list of the contents of the property.

Use of the Inventory Schedule should minimise disputes at the end of the tenancy concerning how much of the deposit should be returned to the tenant.  The Inventory has been expanded to include a section to record any outstanding items that need to be rectified by the landlord at the start of the tenancy. The check-out section can be used to detail any damage or repairs and associated costs to be deducted from the student tenant’s deposit to rectify the damage.
