Waiter/Waitress Employment Contract
This Waiter/Waitress Employment Contract is designed for catering staff working as waiters or waitresses. It is compliant with the Employment Rights Act 1996, the Employment Act 2002 and the Working Time Regulations 1998.
In addition to standard employment terms, it includes provisions relevant to front-of-house roles, including smoking at work, drug and alcohol policies, dress code, security and stock control, and the employer’s right of search.
The contract also includes a clause preventing the staff member taking on additional paid work with another employer without first obtaining the Company’s written approval. There is also an optional clause referring to an external policy document dealing with tips and gratuities.
