The letter refers to the clause relating to the Probationary Period in the Employee's Contract of Employment and tells the employee that there are three possible outcomes to the probationary period:

  • The employee is confirmed in post following successful completion of the probationary period.
  • The probationary period is extended.
  • The employee’s employment is terminated. Note: There is an optional clause giving the employee the right to be accompanied to the meeting. This clause should be used if the employee’s employment will be terminated.
