This Airbnb Agency Appointment Form (Management Only) is for use by Airbnb management agencies when they take on a new property owner client. The form is completed and signed by the Owner of the short-term let accommodation who wishes to appoint an Agent to manage the property during guest stays.
This version of the appointment form should be used where the Owner handles bookings but the Agency greets guests, acts as their point of contact during the stay and cleans the property afterwards. If the Agency is also going to market the property and handle bookings, the Book and Manage version of the Appointment Form should be used instead.
The appointment form, in conjunction with the related Terms and Conditions for Airbnb Agency, creates a contract between the Agency and the Owner. The appointment form and terms and conditions can be displayed on the Agency’s website or provided in hard copy.
The form contains fields for the Agent’s details, the Owner’s details and a detailed description of the property. Details of the agency arrangements are also captured, including the agency period and fees payable.
By signing the form the Owner confirms that there are no restrictions (such as planning control, mortgage conditions or restrictions in the title deeds) that prevent the property being used for holiday lettings. Owners should investigate these matters before entering into a contract with an Agency.
The appointment form has a space for signature at the end. If the form is used on a website the signature line can be replaced with a submit button.
Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.
