Storage for Clothing in the Workplace.
Suitable and sufficient accommodation must be provided for storing personal clothing not worn during work and for storing special work clothing not taken home.
Suitable security for such clothing in the accommodation must be provided.
Separate accommodation must be provided for clothing worn at work and other clothing where necessary to avoid:
risks to health (for example to prevent contamination of personal clothing by a hazardous substance which may be on work clothing);
damage to the clothing (for example to prevent a metal zip on a jacket tearing a work apron used to protect against splashes of a potentially hazardous substance).
Accommodation must, so far as is reasonably practicable, allow or include facilities for drying clothing.
The accommodation must be in a suitable location.
