Casual Work Employment Offer Letter

EMP.OFF.04

The Casual Work Offer Letter is for employers offering work on a casual basis. It has been created to accompany the Casual Work Agreement and can be applied to a wide variety of casual roles.

The letter confirms the workplace, remuneration and proposed start date. The offer is subject to satisfactory references.

How casual work arrangements differ

Under a casual work arrangement, the employer is not obliged to offer the individual work and the individual is not entitled to a minimum number of hours per day, month or year. If work is offered, the worker is not under an obligation to accept it.

Right to work checks and starter documents

The letter requires the worker to provide evidence of their legal right to work in the UK and asks new joiners to bring identity documents and their P45 when they start.

Health disclosure and reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010

Workers are asked to advise the employer of any medical conditions, allergies or disabilities so the employer can consider whether reasonable adjustments may be appropriate under the Equality Act 2010.

Casual Work Employment Offer Letter is part of Employment. Just £38.50 + VAT provides unlimited downloads from Employment for 1 year.
