Casual Work Employment Offer Letter
This Casual Work Offer Letter can be applied to a wide variety of jobs where the employment is offered and accepted on a casual basis. It has been created to accompany the Casual Work Agreement. This Offer Letter confirms the offer of casual work, the work place, remuneration and proposed start date.
Under a casual work arrangement, the employer is not obliged to offer you work and the employee is not entitled to a minimum number of hours of work per day, month or year. If the employer does offer work, the employee is not under an obligation to accept it.
The offer of casual work is subject to satisfactory references. The Offer Letter includes a paragraph which requires the employee to provide evidence of their legal right to work in the UK, and asks new joiners to bring in identity documents and their P45 when they start their employment. The Offer Letter asks employees to advise the employer of any medical conditions, allergies, or disabilities that they have.
This is so that the employer can consider any potential reasonable adjustments that it may be appropriate for the employer to make in line with provisions under the Equality Act 2010.
