LLP Consent to Abridged Accounts
Where an LLP chooses to abridge all or part of its accounts, it must also deliver to Companies House a statement that all members have consented to the abridgement.
This can be done by including a note in the filed accounts stating that consent has been received. An LLP may also wish to send a notice to the Registrar at Companies House, and this template consent can be used for that purpose.
What else you may need
A cover letter to Companies House should accompany this consent. The relevant cover letter template is also available in this collection.
Timing and renewal of member consent
Consent must be obtained each year and can only be given in respect of the preceding financial year. A continuing authority is not permitted.
Consent should be obtained after the year end but before the financial statements are approved.
LLP Consent to Abridged Accounts is part of Corporate. Just £38.50 + VAT provides unlimited downloads from Corporate for 1 year.
