Pro-Forma Response Letter Regarding Updating Information
This Pro-Forma Response Letter regarding Updating Information is a letter of response addressed to the company that should be sent by a registrable PSC or relevant legal entity (RLE) to the company in accordance with section 790H of the Companies Act 2006 – duty to update information to the company.
Whilst companies must send a notice to those they know whose particulars have changed on their PSC register, there may be circumstances where a company does not know (or have reasonable cause to believe) that a relevant change has occurred and therefore the company will not have sent the relevant statutory notice to the PSC/RLE.
If a registrable PSC/RLE’s interest in relation to the company does in fact have a relevant change, they are under a duty to inform the company. This pro forma letter can be used for this purpose.
