Pro-Forma Response Letter Regarding Supplying Information
This Pro-Forma Response Letter regarding Supplying Information is a letter of response addressed to the company that should be sent by an individual or relevant legal entity to the company in accordance with section 790G of the Companies Act 2006 - duty to supply information to the company.
Whilst companies must send a notice to those they know need to be registered, there may be shareholders (or others) with a level of control the company thinks/assumes falls below the 25.1% threshold for registration on the PSC register and therefore the company has not sent that individual or legal entity a section 790D statutory notice. If however that person or legal entity does in fact have a registrable interest, they are under a duty to inform the company. This pro forma letter can be used for this purpose.
