This Non-Compete Letter is for use where an employer wishes to protect its legitimate business interests by asking an employee to agree to the restrictive covenants set out in the letter.
Restrictive covenants can provide additional protection for an employer.
What this Non-Compete Letter covers
The letter includes the following covenants:
- Non-Compete Covenant – restricting the employee (during employment and/or after it ends, as drafted) from being involved in a competing business.
- Non-Solicitation Covenant – restricting the employee (during employment and/or after it ends, as drafted) from soliciting business from clients/prospective clients or suppliers.
- Non-Poaching Covenant – restricting the employee from enticing away former colleagues.
