If the tenant has not filed a Defence within 14 days of service of the Notice of Claim (Form N5B), the landlord may file a "request for an order for possession". This is done by sending this letter to the Court enclosing the tear-off portion of the Notice of Issue which the Court sent to the landlord when the Court issued the claim.
The landlord’s request will be referred to a judge. If all is in order, the judge will make an Order for Possession.
