These Guidance Notes for Employers: The Agency Workers Regulations will be of use to businesses that hire temporary staff, and to agencies that supply temporary staff. They summarise the key changes to agency workers’ rights.
Since 1 October 2011, once an agency worker has completed a 12-week qualifying period, they have the right to the same terms and conditions as if they had been recruited directly by the hirer.
