SAR Letter - No Data Found
Under the UK GDPR, data subjects have the right to access their personal data. This is done by means of a data subject access request.
This letter template is designed for use in situations where no personal data about (or relating to) the data subject has been found. It informs the data subject of the result and informs them that the personal data supplied during the course of the subject access request will either be deleted immediately, or within a specified period (depending upon which option is used).
This letter should be used in response either to the initial receipt of a subject access request or to the receipt of additional information and/or proof of identity. It does not include options to acknowledge the receipt of a fee as it is envisaged that such complex scenarios would involve at least some personal data being held or processed.
This Subject Access Request Letter is in open format. Either enter the requisite details in the highlighted fields or adjust the wording to suit your purposes.
