CHF - AP01 – Appointment of Trustee/Director of Charitable Company Limited By Guarantee

This Companies House Form CHF - AP01 is used to appoint an individual as a director of a charity formed as a charitable company limited by guarantee. Each charity trustee of the charity must be appointed as a director of the company at the same time that they are appointed a charity trustee. Their appointment as a director must be registered with Companies House within 14 days of their appointment using the same form as that which has to be used for any other company.

Note that the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 requires all directors/trustees of a CCLBG to verify their ID. For details as to how and when this must be done, see Charity Trustees : ID Verification (CCLBG)

Companies House indicate that this form should be filed online except if you are restoring a company to the register.
