Electro/Mechanical Works Permit-to-Work Form
A permit-to-work is a formal recorded process used to control work which is identified as potentially hazardous. The objective is to ensure that proper consideration is given to the risks of a particular job.
The Electro/Mechanical Permit to Work form can be used in two situations:-
(i) for operations which involve working on live electrical circuits, and(ii) where the operative is working in or on plant or machinery that would cause him injury if started unexpectedly.
Permits should be signed by both the company and the contractor responsible for carrying out the work, and signed off when the work is completed.
