The Confirmation Letter is designed to be used together with the Holiday Accommodation Booking Form and applicable Holiday Letting Terms and Conditions.
The template letter provides the Guest with written confirmation that the Owner has accepted the booking. It brings together the key details of the holiday booking, including the accommodation, holiday dates, price, payments made and remaining balance.
When Is The Holiday Booking Confirmed?
The Booking Form contains the property-specific information for the proposes booking. Once the Owner accepts the booking, the Owner sends the Booking Confirmation to the Guest. The Booking Confirmation should identify the applicable Holiday Letting Terms and Conditions, which form part of the contract between the Owner and Guest.
The Owner should ensure that the Guest has been given access to the applicable Terms and Conditions before the booking is accepted.
The Confirmation Letter can be sent by email to other appropriate means and can be used alongside an online booking process or for booking made by telephone, post or other methods.
Optional phrases / clauses are enclosed in square brackets. These should be read carefully and selected so as to be compatible with one another. Unused options should be removed from the document.
