This Homestay Accommodation (Airbnb-Style) Confirmation Letter can be used by the Owner of homestay accommodation to confirm a guest’s booking. It should be used in conjunction with the Homestay Terms and Conditions and the Booking Form.
The Confirmation Letter and other documents can be displayed on the Owner’s website or included in a brochure. The Booking Form, Confirmation Letter and Terms and Conditions together form a contract between the Owner and the guest.
The Booking Form contains guest-specific information such as the name and address of the property, the duration of the homestay and the fees payable. The Terms and Conditions are generic and apply to all homestay bookings at the Owner’s property.
The Confirmation Letter is sent once the booking has been accepted and a deposit has been paid. The Letter sets out the key details of the booking, including the date by which the balance of the fees is to be paid. When the Confirmation Letter has been sent, a contract is formed between the Owner and the guest.
