Livery Agreement between Livery Yard and Horse Owner
This Livery Agreement between Livery Yard and Horse Owner can be used when a livery yard takes in a horse for a private (non-commercial) horse owner.
The document creates a contract between the Livery Yard Owner and the Horse Owner and contains provisions regarding payment, each party’s responsibilities and how the contract can be terminated.
The tasks to be carried out by the Livery Yard Owner are set out in Schedule 1. An example list is included in the template but this should be reviewed carefully and amended as appropriate to reflect the service offered.
The obligations of the Horse Owner are contained in Schedule 2. Again, these can be amended to fit the transaction.
Fees and payment are covered in Schedule 3. The template provides for a regular monthly fee together with ad hoc payments for additional work.
