These updated and expanded Interview Guidance Notes provide guidelines on
the preparation, structure, conduct and content of an interview with an
indication of time management for the interview process. There is also an
interview assessment form.
The Guidance Notes also look at considerations under the Equality Act 2010.
The Guidance Notes refer to primary responsibilities provided in the Job
Description Form, and provides a list of "competencies" ranging from
expertise in the job to problem solving, decision-making and management
capabilities. Each of these competencies has a number of suggested
questions. This list of questions and competencies are examples only, and
should be amended to suit the specifics of your business and the role for
which you are recruiting.
